I’m Tirth, the astrologer, researcher, and sādhak behind Tantric Astro.

The word Tantra denotes a loom the underlying structure of reality where time, karma, and consciousness intersect. Tantric Astro is built upon the foundational truth that Jyotiṣa (Vedic Astrology) and Tantra are not separate sciences; they are the two eyes of the cosmic seer.

My work is rooted in the classical Jyotiṣa tradition. I trained under the direct guidance of a Nāth guru before stepping away to build my own practice one grounded directly in the original source texts rather than any single school’s dogma. Today, I read charts using the Parāśari and Jaimini systems with the True Chitrapaksha Ayanāmśa, combining the predictive precision of the classics with the interpretive depth these systems were actually built for.

The Catalyst

Astrology is rarely just an intellectual pursuit; for me, it was born out of necessity. Early in life, I faced severe physical trials that brought me face-to-face with my own mortality. When you go through something that drastic, the superficial distractions of everyday life fall away very quickly. You are forced to ask deeper questions about karma, time, and the hidden structures that govern our lives.

This period of physical transformation included a very literal fading of the world’s external noise. Forced into a profound inward turn, that quiet became my greatest asset. Without the usual outer distractions, the mathematical precision and silent influence of the Grahas (planets) began to make perfect sense. What began as an intense personal struggle became the catalyst for a life dedicated to understanding the architecture of fate.

The Tradition & The Source Texts

Based in Ahmedabad, my practice is fundamentally rooted in the Śākta tradition. In this framework, the planets are not viewed simply as distant physical bodies, but as living expressions of divine consciousness (Shakti). By approaching Jyotiṣa through the lens of the Purāṇas and classical Tantric texts, astrology stops being merely observational. It becomes a diagnostic tool to understand deep karmic patterns and, more importantly, to actively resolve them.

As I deepened my practice, I realized how much of modern astrology has been diluted by second-hand interpretations. That led me directly back to the original source texts. My primary ongoing research focuses on the Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra (BPHS). I am currently building a Master Compendium that systematically maps out its mechanics to bridge the gap between classical verses and highly accurate, practical predictions for the modern world.

The Ethics & The Boundaries

I do these readings purely out of love for the game of Jyotiṣa itself. This is not my primary business, and it is not how I feed myself. The fees I charge act as a filter, reflecting the time and the immense karmic weight of doing this properly.

Because astrology carries real karmic consequences, I cast a Prashna before taking anyone on to check whether I am karmically permitted to read for them. I do not skip this for anyone. When an astrologer points the way, they carry a share of the responsibility for what the client does with that information. This protects both of us. If the Prashna does not clear, I will honestly tell you to wait a few months and do some sādhana before approaching me again.

Let me also be clear about what I am not. I am a sādhak, not a tantric guru, and I have no wish to become one. I do not give diksha, I do not provide ongoing weekly spiritual guidance, and I do not entertain requests for Tantric Vashikaran or similar clown BS. The sādhana I prescribe usually Sahasranāma, stotrams, or stutis is strictly based on your chart, but I am not here to hold your hand or track your progress.

The Practice

What I care about is honesty in astrology. I would rather give you something sharp and accurate than a 50-page generic AI life report. Every consultation is treated as its own study, backed by mathematical precision and maintained through my own disciplined lifestyleincluding strict adherence to Sanātana Dharma, continuous Śākta sādhana, and regular 10-day Vipassana retreats.
