Your Vimśottarī mahādaśās, antardaśās and pratyantardaśās with their dates, the tāra of every daśā lord counted from your janma nakṣatra, and the start-star options of Jagannātha Horā.

How it works

Vimśottarī gives 120 years to nine lords in a fixed order: Ketu 7, Venus 20, Sun 6, Moon 10, Mars 7, Rāhu 18, Jupiter 16, Saturn 19 and Mercury 17. The first mahādaśā belongs to the lord of your janma nakṣatra, and the part of that nakṣatra the Moon had already crossed at birth is the part of the daśā already spent.

Each mahādaśā divides into nine antardaśās in the same order, starting from its own lord, each lasting its share of the 120 years. Each antardaśā divides into pratyantardaśās the same way. The tāra column counts every lord from your janma nakṣatra, as in the navatārā chakra, so you can see which daśās belong to the Vipat, Pratyari and Vadha lords.

“Start the daśā from” moves the seed of the daśā forward by that many nakṣatras and keeps the Moon’s position within the nakṣatra. Jagannātha Horā offers the 4th (Kṣema), the 5th (Utpanna) and the 8th (Ādhāna); here you can pick any of the nine tāras. A daśā year is the sidereal year around your birth, from one entry of the Sun into Aries to the next, which is what Jagannātha Horā uses unless you change it. The Moon uses the True Citrapakṣa ayanāṁśa. Nothing you enter here leaves your browser.
